Tony Thanks, It has been too hot for me in the shop for a while, but I am going to try to play with the thing in the early mornings next week. YES, the pilot light burns well, so I am getting fuel thru, but I may have the pressure too high. My problem is that if it will not light immediately when set at recommended pressures and I turn them back for lighting, then when I turn them back it probably will not light for operation with the foot pedal. I think it may have to do with not having oxygen MIXED into the fuel. This is no problem with acetylene, but may be with propane. I have been trying to light it with pure propane. Everything in the system looks to be correct, and the fact that the pilot light works tells me that propane is getting to the torch. Like they said in "The King and I" -- "IS A PUZZLEMENT".

Had a virus get thru my Macafee Virus Protection. Am going to lose my computer for a while early next week while it gets fixed. Meantime I am going to try to save as much off it as I can. I understand that I MUST save pictures ONE AT A TIME which will be fun. I think I may simply abandon quite a few. This will certainly teach me to back up certain items in the future. Wisdom comes with experience and MORE FORCEFULLY with unpleasant experience.
