Hi All, For those of you that bought swage blocks and stands, the stands were a BARGAIN!! Torch. Lloyd, and Sean did an excellent job designing and building them.
On my old stand (that I built) I ran into a little issue that when I flipped my block to different positions, it would rock a little bit. This was an issue with the block, not the stand. I fixed it by shimming the corners as needed to make the block rest firmly in all positions. I used small triangles of leather (from the gauntlets of old worn out welding gloves) a little contact cement and the problem was solved. Just throwing it out there. Cheers, Mike L. |
