Watch Out for Flying Anvils Premiering on SCIENCE this Labor Day.

Hosted by MYTHBUSTERS' Tory Belleci,

FLYING ANVILS premieres on SCIENCE Monday, September 5, at 10 PM (ET/PT)

I don't know for sure, but this is most likely the show they were filming when Tim Ryan got hurt.

Sorry for the late notice, but I didn't hear about it till now. The show will be broadcast a second time at 0500 on Weds morning on the SCI station. If you have AT&T U-verse it's 258 or 1258.

I was extremely pleased that they did not cut out Tim's part.
They had parts of interviews with him prior to the accident, and showed him setting up and lighting the fuse.
They cut out the explosion and had distance scenes of the medical team working.
I think I saw Tim walking around with the medical team and the discussion as to whether to continue the competition.

When Tim went to light the fuse for the powder he leaned over with his left hand resting on the top anvil. Some spilled blackpowder was ignited by sparks from the fuse. When the rest of the powder ingited his hand was damaged. Torch is right he was shown talking to officals about his wanting to continue the competition.

I had no idea about that accident; and it's kinda late to learn about it. So, it was Tim Ryan. What were his injuries and how is he faring now? Lastly, does anyone know a permanent access to the full broadcast show - on youtube or any other place? So far I could only find the introductory video. And on top, my Dish subscription excludes the Science channel. I feel kind of an affinity to Tim's big bang debakel, since I named my business Big Bang Forge.
