Why bother at all? When I joined ABBA about 16 yr ago, the a decile was for the following 12 mos rather than the preceding 10 mos. Also the newsletter was widely circulated and informed us of lots of things like: results of June elections, winners of scholarships in April and lots of other useful information.

I just tried to respond to a group email from the current VP and it came back undeliverable.
What should I expect from a secret organization with a secret roster and a secret newsletter?

Signed,
TBD

Sounds like someone needs to lighten up. This is all volunteer work and no one in the leadership positions are getting paid. Takes a lot of time and effort to do this and I for one appreciate it.

What's wrong with my newsletter? There are plenty of places in the newsletter where I ask for input from the members and suggestions as to what they would like to see in it. You know how many suggestions I have received? Zero. So, if the newsletter is not representing the 'useful' information that you so wish, it is of your own shortcoming. Don't like the job I have done with it? You are in luck because the December issue will be my last. Now you can take it over and make it everything you hope for it to be with all of your 'useful' information.

Sure hate to hear that Thomas. I think you're doing an excellent job. Don't let a few sour grapes spoil it.

I agree with Cal and Mike. Thomas, you've done a great job and I will miss the job you have done with the newsletter.
