I was told to check out Mark Aspery on U tube and did so and really am impressed. There are a few sites there that are just so-so, but there is one site that has a selection of about 22 videos of his work illustrating his two books, The Skills of a Blacksmith. Vols. 1 and 2.

The camera work is EXCELLENT. This is actually better than seeing his demonstration at Madison to me. It is UP CLOSE and you can see what can be done with a hammer in your hand at an anvil. Only one place where a power hammer was used and that was an aside. This is obviously a later work than the books, because he had added one trick that I saw that was not in the books.

I have seen Mark demonstrate a couple of times and have taken a class with him. He is a wonderful teacher and everything he does is first class.
