<br />

Eligibility:<br />
<br />
1. The recipient must be a member of ABBA for at least 6 months and must have attended at least 6 meetings during the previous 12 month period, including the month of the drawing.<br />
2. Members who have won scholarships in one year will be ineligible to participate in the drawing in the following year.<br />
3. Members who have outstanding obligations to ABBA (such as but not limited to: not current with their dues, outstanding-over due library books or tapes, or who have not full filled obligations incurred for previous scholarships) will be ineligible to participate in the drawing<br />
4. Scholarships shall be commenced before December 31 of the year of the award unless a request is made to the Executive Committee for an extension of time and such is approved by the Executive Committee.<br />

Responsibilities of winners:<br />
Members who are awarded a scholarship shall:<br />
<br />
• Within four months of the completion of the class submit an article to the newsletter. The article must include a few pages of how to make some of the items learned in the class.<br />
• Within four months of the completion of the class arrange to demonstrate class techniques at a regular meeting. Arrangements should be made through the Meetings Chairman.<br />
• Provide an item, made using techniques learned at the class in one of the following manners: for Iron In The Hat for that meeting, for auction at the December Auction or failing an auction being held, an item , for Iron In The Hat for the December regular meeting.]]></description>
