The winners should notify the Secretary/Treasurer by the end of the November 2009 meeting regarding their intentions to use their scholarship award or the scholarship will be passed onto the first alternal.

These scholarships are reimbursement in nature, they are not awards of cash money. The recipient may notify the Secretary/ Treasurer of the dates of the class, the name and address of the school and request payment by presenting a receipt of payment, whereupon the Secretary/Treasurer will make payment in a timely fashion.
Awards are for an amount of money and are not designated as "full week", "weekend" or other stipulation. If the winner of a scholarship wishes to take numerous classes ABBA will reimburse up to the amount of the total award.]]> Fri, 02 Oct 2009 16:34:00 -0400
