My name is Amy Reed and I am the Curator at the Marietta Museum of History. I also serve on the 150th Civil War Commemorative Committee for the City of Marietta. On November 8th, we are having a day long festival and commemoration of the burning of our town by Union Troops in 1864. You can find more information here Marietta Museum of History

I am writing you because we would like to have a period blacksmith that day alongside the re enactors on the Marietta Square. Someone with a portable set up and 19th century practices to demonstrate would be ideal. Would this be something you or your group would be interested in?
