<description><![CDATA[Below are 4 links to a technique session that Blacksmither radio is going to start producing. This one is Mark Aspery lecturing on how he forges a miner's candlestick. They are each about 20 mins long. I have watched the first one and it was pretty good.<br />

One interesting note about the first video, Mark discusses tempering his hot chisel. I know that there has been a discussion or two at our meetings over whether or not to temper a tool for working hot. Mark has put it to the test and gives us his results. Take them or leave them, but I have yet to hear someone test it as he did.<br />

If you receive the Hammer's Blow, Mark did a tutorial on how to forge these in the Winter 2015 issue. This might be a good supplement to that if you are wanting to forge one. I haven't read the issue to see how redundant it is, but I'm guessing he gives more info in the video.<br />
